Jeff Jenkins is a success story. Already.
Even though he’s not completed or anywhere near the goals he’s really set for himself or where he’s going to be.
Many of you may know him from his active participation in the #LetsGetHUGE Facebook support group. He is up front enthusiastic and relentless in pursuit of his goal body and a the Life he has en-Visioned. He is constantly in action working the plan to achieve his goals.
I have had the great privilege to have worked with him for the last 5 months and his progress has been dramatic and gratifying.
What most people don’t know about Jeff is where he comes from and all about his history. In the collage picture attached here, the picture on the top left shows his starting point following his last Chemotherapy Treatment.
In November 12 2010, when he collapsed at work, Jeff was diagnosed with Severe Cardio Myopathy — an Infection that attacked the valves and muscles of his heart probably from a severe Staph or Strep infection. ?On November 27, they started Immune Suppression therapy, wiping out all of his immunity. On December 1, 2010 was his first Chemotherapy treatment. On December 5, 2010, he went through Stem Cell transplantation — an awful 2 infusion process worse than the very worst Chemotherapy treatment.
It took Jeff two years to recover from these treatments and start feeling good again. Only to have to go through Anti-Rejection treatments (worse than any chemotherapy treatment) when it was feared that his body was rejecting the Stem Cells when he caught an infection in 2013.
Jeff said “In 2014, I gave up on myself because I just didn’t care anymore. What was the sense? A level of doom just came over me. But in 2015 a big turnaround hapened in my life and I found hope again in my faith and with a new priest in our Russian Orthodox Church. I Started taking training seriously again. I joined #LetsGethuge 8 months ago. It was a big motivator for me because I started seeing guys making big progress. I started thinking what can I do to myself? ?I didn’t like how I was looking. I made the decision that I needed to do something more. I was Inspired by the people in LGH. And 5 months ago, I started working with Luke.”
Jeff is a real example of “You can’t get here from there” an a real inspiration. ?He has that true relentless winning attitude and he is willing to go to any lengths necessary to achieve his goals.
We can all do well to take a page from his book and have EXTREMELY high expectations in seeing where he is going to go!
So proud.
